Many of us at DAD were dejected when we heard that the Run-X tour featuring Baauer, Boys Noize, Spank Rock and Nadus was cancelled. As huge supporters of Nadus' club-meets-footwork stylings in particular, the idea that the left coast and Midwest would get a taste of his sound was certainly appealing. Though that's no longer happening, Nadus is still on the grind, and just last night dropped five free footwork tracks for download in a Facebook post. Three years ago, these tracks were scheduled to be released as an EP on Chicago's now defunct Ghettophiles indie label, and showcase Nadus' unique take on the footwork sound. Here's a quick run-down of what's been made available for download from one of Jersey's finest.

Tracklist:

"Get Paid" - A single bass guitar chord buoys a hyper-warped and fully spaced-out melody.

"Never Tell a Lie" - Soulful R&B wraps itself around a frenetic hi-hat and snare loop.

"Weed Clip" - A downtempo spped bass track drowned in spiraling, synth-heavy atmospherics.

Nuyorican Soul & India - "Runaway" (Nadus Remix) - This track borrows from Jersey club's bass patterns to add extra low-end fury to a fantastic re-working of the legendary house classic.

Terius Nash - "Wake Me Up When It's Over" (Nadus Remix) - Sounds like what would happen if you soaked a The-Dream single in Red Bull and then ran it through a series of warped drum loops.
