We called it back in January that Mikos Da Gawd was someone to look out for. As his following seems to be growing at a very healthy rate, he's also become a Soulection affiliate and deservedly so. His production style sits incredibly well at the table of that beat scene renaissance we're currently in the midst of. Thankfully with so many players jumping into this realm as the year begins to wind down, Mikos' production style has progressed in all the right ways. His latest freebie, "Hot Shit," is absolutely filthy and is one of the dopest things he's released so far. Instant heavy repeat play and the placement of the vocal sample is sparse enough that any decent rapper with a pulse should want jump on and murder this beat. We may just have to keep telling you we told you so though. It's OK, it happens.
