While many purists have debated back and forth about the material that's being called "deep house" these days, you can't front: whatever Disclosure did to the industry, we're starting to see the ripple effect being more deep-er house producers being signed. Kygo, a 23-year-old Norwegian producer, has already been featured on Diplo & Friends and remixed Coldplay's "Midnight." This week, it was announced that Kygo signed with Ultra Music / Sony, who have officially been aligned since January of 2013. While there's no concrete word on what you can expect from Kygo, word broke that this "long term deal with Sony Music will see him producing original solo material which is expected for release in late 2014 when he will also be undertaking his first solo tour of North America and Europe. This will include 18 sold out shows in the US where he will be released in partnership with Ultra."

With Dillon Francis being a part of the Sony family with his signing to Columbia, we're not surprised that Dillon's now collaborating with Kygo on material:
