It looks as though Drake has made another big splash with his emerging OVO Sound label by signing Atlanta's ILOVEMAKONNEN to the label. Drake remixed Makonnen's banger "Tuesday" earlier this month, and it was just put on iTunes tonight under the OVO Sound/Warner Bros umbrella. The original song had been released on iTunes off the I Love Makonnen EP on Sheratino Hotel Records.
OVO Sound has yet to officially release a statement thus far, but if true, Makonnen would join PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, and OB O’Brien as signees to the label, which has been busy this summer. PARTYNEXTDOOR released PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO and Majid Jordan released A Place Like This back in July. Meanwhile, Drake brought Makonnen out tonight as a special guest during the Atlanta stop of the Drake Vs Lil Wayne tour.
