It's so funny to me how this time last year that unless you were full blown Disclosure nerd and were already up on "Latch" when it was first released in the summer of 2012, you really had no idea who Sam Smith was. Like...he was seriously just the dude singing on that "Latch" tune making it's ways through hipster circles before finally popping in the U.S. in 2014., but the climb out of obscurity has totally been achieved. With a Billboard Top 10 album and single of his own, he may be the breakout story of the year overall in music. So now this house anthem he recorded with Freddy Verano gets released, and the versatility is flexed yet again. This is simply how you do house music in the uplifting traditional sense with an insane vocal that completely ties the whole package together. All we get for now is a radio edit stream on SoundCloud, but this is really wow and on constant repeat for me.
