Five Tracks: Ape Drums

Over the last year or so, we've been like many of you–falling in love with the dancehall-influenced EDM that Houston's Ape Drums has been turning up with. You can't miss him: he's remixing Skrillex, hitting the "Bashment" with Slow Roast, and getting love from Absolut. We've been a fan of his for a minute, and glad that he took the time to hit us off with this week's Five Tracks. Luckily for us, he even includes one fire dancehall riddim. Wheeeeel it!

Nömak & L'homme Aux 4 Lettres - "Horsequake"

LOVE this one because it shares my similar style as far as the switch-ups and it hits SO HARD live.

The Code - "Gravity"

This song is amazing to listen and relax, too. The production & sounds are pleasing to the ear.

Reid Stefan - "Give Me Some Fire"

give me some fire

This one is one of my favorites right now, simply because its a proper mid tempo track and hits a crowd well.

Jeremih ft. YG - "Don't Tell Em (Alesia Remix)"

Another favorite, the way they harmonized the vocal is amazing. Even though I love the original, everything about this track is sick.

Charly Black - "Yuh F**k Sweet"

yuh fuck sweet

This is one of my favorite dancehall tracks at the moment, proper riddim!
