Iggy Azalea has been having quite a successful run these days; her single "Fancy" has dominated the airwaves and is a certified summer smash, while her feature on Ariana Grande's single, "Problems," has hit the top of the charts, too. In the meantime, her role in the hip-hop world has been welcomed by some, while others have questioned her authenticity in the game.
Yesterday, a preview of one of Iggy's old music videos leaked online for a song called "Nuthin Like Me." And let's be real: this sounds nuthin' like her. On first listen, it is the exact opposite of the music Iggy is making these days—did she just grow as an artist over time, or was this the original sound she was aiming for? The track sounds like a cross between Britney Spears' "Toxic" and "Gimme More," while its accompanying video, is an almost exact replica of Britney's "Gimme More" visual, down to the heavy auto-tune, to the chorus and Iggy's wardrobe in the video.
