As things ramp up towards the release of Kaytranada’s debut album via the wonderful people at XL Recordings (find out about their new compilation here), expect to hear lots more from the Montreal beatmaker. We already knew that he had the remix game on lock, and today he proves that he reminds us that he can make great music working with a vocalist too. “Leave Me Alone” comes from Kaytranda’s upcoming So Bad EP, also being released via XL, and features vocals Shay Lia, another Montreal-based artist. It’s a lush and inviting track, the kind that you can really sink into as you listen, and it’s an exciting look at what the future could hold for Kaytranada.
