Towards the end of 2013, Flux Pavilion released his Freeway EP, and I remember it not doing much in terms of overall scene movement. It could be that some of the tunes didn't sound as fresh, or that people expected Flux to return to the days of old, but somehow it just didn't register. While I'm not saying that the coming Freeway: The Remixes release is going to do much in terms of changing people's perceptions on where Flux is right now, if its packed with more imaginative reworks like this take on the title track, we might be in for a treat. Collaborating with Kill The Noise on this remix, the "Freeway" vocals play guide, turning this tune into way more of a #feelings vibe. It dwells in the trap realm, but is way more chilled than we normally expect from either FP or KTN. Check out the preview down below, and be on the look out the full EP, which drops on October 10.
