A rap battle between Dizaster and Math Hoffa turned into chaos after Dizaster punched Hoffa in the face. This all happened during day two of King of the Dot's Battle of Los Angeles (BOLA) 5 event at Los Globos. Towards the end of the battle, Dizaster said, "Fucking waste of life. I should punch you in the fucking face right now." After some inaudible jawing back-and-forth, he suddenly swung on Hoffa. The fight escalated further with Dizaster bringing Hoffa to the ground before the two were eventually separated.

While the full video of the battle was supposed to be released at a later date, multiple cell phone videos have been uploaded online, each with a different angle. Some are clearer than others.

Hoffa got into controversy last year for punching Serius Jones in the face during their battle at Summer Madness 3. Ironically, Dizaster called out Hoffa for this incident during an interview. "What battling is and what hip-hop is and what we do is the complete opposite of that," he said. As BattleRap.com reports, the beef between Dizaster and Hoffa started two years ago, spurred on by a fan's Twitter comment. The two have also crossed paths during Eminem's Road To Total Slaughter television series. —Dharmic X

Zendaya Coleman was set to play Aaliyah in the upcoming Lifetime biopic, but E! is reporting that the Disney actress has pulled out of the film. According to the report, a source close to Zendaya told E!that she is no longer involved in the project.

The reasons behind her pulling out of the film are not yet known, but the report states that production on the film was delayed for a number of issues, which included not being able to obtain the rights to Aaliyah's music. Aaliyah's family stated that they would attempt to block all efforts to include Aaliyah's music in the film.

Lifetime confirmed the news on their Twitter account and revealed that the production for the film is currently on hold.  —Zach Frydenlund

The BET Awards went down last Sunday—and the year's lineup was stacked with talent, with performances from Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Lionel Richie, Pharrell, and many more. This year, Young Money won big at the event—with Nicki taking home the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award and Drake winning Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, too. Plus, Best Group, even though they're a label, and a family. —Zach Frydenlund

Justin Bieber seems like a pretty good friend. According to TMZ, Bieber came to the aid of Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s kids after they were involved in a car crash in Los Angeles. Floyd called on Bieber for assistance because he was on the red carpet of the BET Awards. Bieber reportedly was in the area and wasted no time going to make sure Floyd's kids were alright.

Mayweather's kids weren't seriously injured in the multi-car accident, though having Justin there probably helped calm their nerves. Justin didn't just check on the kids though, he played them some new music to cheer them up and then drove them to over to Floyd. —Zach Frydenlund

While at his video shoot for "Krazy" in Los Angeles, Lil Wayne chopped it up quickly with MTV about the possible release date for his highly-anticipated Carter V album. Though he didn't give a solid date (it sounded like he didn't know for sure), Wayne said that he is finished with the album and it will be out in August or September.

At one point he said August 25 or 29 or even July, so while he was pretty confusing, it's safe to say the album is coming soon. Wayne also revealed that the follow up album to Carter V will be fittingly titled Da Other Album, and can be expected in October. Hurry up, Wayne, we're ready. —Zach Frydenlund

VH1 announced they would be holding a Twitter Q&A with Robin Thicke to coincide with the release of his new album, Paula. The Q&A went down earlier this week when VH1 asked inquiring minds to use the hashtag #AskThicke when shooting their questions through.

Women in the music industry face their fair share of hardships and exclusion, but there's one music power couple who appears to have flipped the script. Forbesrecently released its "World's Most Powerful Celebrities" list, and it revealed that Beyoncé made almost double the money Jay Z did over last year. While Jigga was no slouch either (he pulled in $60 million last year, good enough for the No. 6 slot), Beyoncé topped the list, raking in roughly $115 million.

Most of these earnings came from her Mrs. Carter World Tour, where she made an average of $2.4 million at each show. In late 2013, she also surprised the world with the release of her album Beyoncé without warning and whipped up a social media firestorm in the process. The former Destiny's Child front woman also has lucrative endorsement deals with companies like Pepsi and H&M, her own clothing line, and a number of popular fragrances.

To Jay Z's credit, he also brought in millions from a successful tour and album. The Brooklyn mogul's Magna Carta... Holy Grail sold over 2 million copies in the last year, and his many business ventures brought in big bucks, as well. He's also the owner/founder of Roc Nation, which manages artists like J. Cole, Rihanna, and Rita Ora. That means together, Mr. and Mrs. Carter earned roughly $175 million last year. With their worldwide On the Run Tour projected to be one of the most successful ever and more music in the works, it's possible that the couple may soar even higher next year. —Chris Mench

A number of rap albums entered the charts for the first time this week, including Ab-Soul's These Days..., which debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 with just under 22,000 copies sold. This tally is an improvement on his 2012 album, Control System, which sold 5,300 copies in its abbreviated three-day debut release. However, these numbers pale in comparison to his Black Hippy counterparts ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar, who both broke the six figure mark with their respective releases.

G-Eazy's debut album These Things Happen fared better, selling 46,000 copies in its first week to land at No. 3 on the charts, while RiFF RAFF's NEON iCON debuted at No. 22 with 11,000 copies sold. The big winner this week though was Ed Sheeran, whose new album x took the top spot with 210,000 copies sold. Sheeran's sophomore release boasts production from Pharrell and Rick Rubin. —Edwin Ortiz
