Statik Selektah is gearing up to drop his new album What Goes Around next month, and as usual the veteran producer/DJ out of Lawrence, Mass. has some very special guests lined up for his sixth studio release. Thus far Statik has shared "Carry On," a bar-for-bar highlight reel between Joey Bada$$ and Freddie Gibbs, as well as "The Imperial," which features a triple threat of venerable lyricists in Action Bronson, Royce Da 5'9", and Black Thought.

Today, Statik drops off another track from the album, "Alarm Clock." Ab-Soul, Jon Connor, and Logic grace the smooth production with insightful rhymes of their respective come-up in the game. "I went from selling records out my record shop/To my records selling out the record shop," Soul raps in reference to the record store his family owned when he was younger. Logic keeps the theme intact as he runs through his past of dead-end jobs, a broken home, and hustling on the block before finding his calling with the pen and the pad. "Word of advice: Follow your dreams and never look back." Preach, Logic.

Additional guests on Statik Selektah's What Goes Around include Bun B, Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli, Termanology, and Sean Price, and many more. The project will be released August 19 through Showoff/Duck Down Music and is available for pre-order on iTunes. Those that do pre-order have the opportunity to receive a bonus six-song EP entitled Comes Around by emailing their proof of purchase to statikselektah@duckdown.com.
