Earlier this week, Hudson Mohawke's Chimes EP was announced. Due out on September 30, this is the first solo Hudson Mohawke release since 2011, and judging by what we saw this morning, it looks like it contains some tunes that aren't necessarily "new," but will definitely be new to heads who might not be up on HudMo pre-TNGHT. Shouts to Aliasizm, who unearthed a preview of "King Kong Beaver" that was taken from a HudMo mix that he did for Ras Kwame back in May of 2010. What's dope to hear is that HudMo was really just that future–material like this sounds like what many heads are just aspiring to get to now. Plus, this is a great way to dive into your weekend.
