Although he's been hard at work over the course of the last year, for the most part New Jersey MC Da$H is still flying under the radar. He's collaborated on tracks with A$AP FergEarl Sweatshirt, Boldy James, Mac Miller and his partner-in-crime RetcH. Of course, this is all in addition to his Double A-Side EP series. Outside of studio work, his elusive appearances are a conscious decision on his part, choosing to play the shadows and only pop up in the public eye when it's necessary.

Complex News recently managed to catch up with the low-key rapper to discuss some of his recent work—specifically, Da$H's 2-track EP That Time We Smoked Dust. He also spoke to us about his early days hanging around DD172 and Dame Dash. Additionally, Da$H details maintaining a sense of mystique in music in 2014, and sticking to his guns when it comes to preserving a certain stripe of artistic profile.

Check out the interview above, and make sure to listen to Da$H's latest Larry Fisherman-produced tape, Double A-Side: VOL.3
