To prepare for her upcoming album My Everything, Ariana Grande joined forces with MTV to bring back a classic show for one night only. The appropriately named "Total Ariana Live," served as the launching pad for Ariana's anticipated new single "Break Free" featuring Zedd which she previewed during the show:
"Total Ariana Live" was built for the fans, and in true "TRL" style they had an active Q&A on social media for Ariana to interact with the audience. In a segment built around her hip-hop knowledge (possibly due to the large amount of rappers that will be featured on her album), Ariana drove MTV censors crazy during her awesome Broadway rendition of A$AP Rocky's "Problems."
Ariana also announced that she will be performing "Break Free" at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards which airs on August 24, and that her sophomore album will be available right after the show ends.
