Feels like its been a minute since we've heard from Knight Riderz; we haven't gotten new material from him since February, so it's great to not only premiere something new from the Canadian, but it's awesome to see that the sound is moving in a dope direction. Definitely not up on Vokab Kompany, but it looks like the San Diego-based crew has their hands in a number of sounds, mixing live instrumentation into their hip-hop/indie/electronic wave. Linking up with Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn-based Siya on this booming future bass cut was pretty damn necessary. It has an understated twerk quality to it, but instead of spitting corn on the mic, Vokab and Siya really brought their pens to the booth. This is the kind of progression we like to see.
