The long-awaited N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, is finally coming together. Yesterday, director F. Gary Gary announced that two pivotal roles in the film had been cast.

The role of Dr. Dre in the film will be played by Marcus Callender, who has previously appeared in episodes of Criminal Justice, Blue Bloods, and Elementary. The role of Eazy-E will be played by relative unknown actor, Jason Mitchell, who apparently shined during his screen test for the part. The two will join Ice Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson Jr. in the film, who will be playing the role of his father.

The film doesn't yet have a release date, but according to the report, they are set to start principle photography and shooting soon. Are you excited for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic?
