German progressive bass deans Schlachthofbronx recently released Rave and Romance, a free album that likely lapped the rest of the dance music universe. It's not so much that their style is forward thinking that makes them so advanced as much as it is that it's the high level of precision and class in execution that puts them ahead. Thus, in releasing a new mix to celebrate the release of Rave and Romance, it's not so much a mix as it is a journey deep into their creative process. Not only do you get VIP edits, but you get most of the Rave and Romance release, as well as Buraka Som Sistema collaboration "Volumen," soon to be released on Modeselektor's record label Monkeytown. As well, there's some TEKLIFE and yes, Bad Brains thrown in for good measure, too. Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
