Things have been pretty quiet from Lil Wayne as far as any new developments on his upcoming album Tha Carter V goes, but tonight's episode of "Weezy Wednesdays" contains a very special announcement.
Wayne reveals that he will be dropping Tha Carter V and another album as well. He explains that he realized that he had too many songs for Carter V, which created the need for him to have the other songs live on another project which he is calling The Other Album.
This announcement is exciting, but one has to wonder when they will actually release. With six months left in the year, Lil Wayne will have to work overtime in order to drop both in a timely fashion. It is also worth mentioning that Wayne has already gone back on his previous claims that Tha Carter V would be his final album.
