I got hooked into the Japanese bass music scene after setting up the exclusive we did a while back for the Trekkie Trax compilation that came out on Top Billin. Now that I've got my SoundCloud eye on them, I saw that the collective put out a footwork EP by DubbyMaple who only has three of his tracks own his SoundCloud, but god damn if they aren't all fire. This guy got me making Mr. Carmack comparisons. Anyway, this EP is some frenetic, sometimes video game inspired juke. It reeks of Japan but in the best way possible. You need this.
