After just releasing his new single, "Kingdom," with Vince Staples, Common announces that he has officially signed with Def Jam Records. The announcement comes with the official release date of his new album, Nobody Smiling, which is now due out on July 22 with No I.D. executive producing the entire project.
Common's last album, The Dreamer/The Believer, was released in 2011 through Warner Brothers. After three years of waiting, it's safe to say everyone is ready for a new album from Common.
