Attention all Barbz, get ready to head to Philadelphia come July 4 weekend, because Nicki Minaj has been pegged to perform at The Roots annual festival. The announcement came today from Mayor Michael Nutter, who also revealed that Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, and Aloe Blacc will be performing at the festival.
The Roots are set to be the house band for the festival, which will be shown live on VH1 if you're not able to make it out to Philly for the show. The Roots are set to drop their new album, And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, on May 19. Nicki is also set to perform at Hot 97's Summer Jam in June.
