Happy freaking Monday to me, jeezus. This recent UK #1 from Route 94 with Jess Glynne on the euphoric vocal is given an amazing Jersey club spin from Brenmar & J Heat. It's simple and really uses the vocal to carry things, which is completely OK with me. But the simple uptick in the tempo and giving it the soulful aspects of the Jersey club chop and change at four and eight bars makes this thing totally soar. As if the original was great, this (unofficial?) flip is destined for summer anthem status if the right DJs start dropping this at the right time of their sets. Seriously, it's patio season already. The season where time capsule worthy music gets dropped.
