Just as Armin once put Madison Square Garden in A State Of Trance, Above & Beyond is about to give the Garden some Group Therapy. Earlier this week, the UK trance heavyweights announced in conjunction with massive telecommunications giant Time Warner Cable and Made Event that the 100th episode of Above & Beyond's Group Therapy radio show will be broadcasted live from Madison Square Garden on October 18. The show will put Above & Beyond in an elite group of electronic music artists who have played the world's most famous arena and will also cement the pop-leaning trance stars both as giants in the pop world and a force to be reckoned with. Though they do not fit the traditional US mold of what makes a US pop star these days, there's no question that the trio has tapped into something with Group Therapy and have made an entire movement out of it. Playing MSG is just the natural and forward progression of that movement. Peep the launch video above notice that it features Above & Beyond's new single (and first vocal single of the year) "Sticky Fingers" feat. Alex Vargas.
