Tonight,YG visted Hot97 and gave Funkmaster Flex the customary freestyle session for new artists. The Compton born rapper actually does well at coming off the top of the dome, changing his flow a few times.
The most interesting point of the freestyle is YG throwing a few not-so thinly veiled jabs at other west coast rapper Problem during the freestyle. Coming right after a line about people stealing his popular "ratchet" sound, YG then takes the "Like Whaaat" adlib that has been associated with Problem.
This isn't the first time YG has spoke about Problem, but the shots fired during this freestyle definitely seem like a continuation of his earlier statements. My Krazy Life is in stores now.
