There are many events in rap history that are either unknown or forgotten, from album releases to deaths to random ass events most of us can't even recall. As an attempt to remember those moments, Complex will share an event that helped shape hip-hop in some minor way. Join us as we look back on This Day in Rap History.

March 21, 2000

On March 21, 2000, Trina released her debut album Da Baddest Bitch. Before her album dropped, she premiered the first single off the album in 1999, also titled "Da Baddest Bitch", which charted at No. 64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. But the album's second single, "Pull Over" fared better and it to No. 93 on the Hot 100. Her album peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 and 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 2013, Complex listed "Pull Over" at number 27 in our list of The 50 Best Rap Songs by Women
