After a lengthy hiatus, Linkin Park have dropped a new song tonight. Though details are unknown on the name of their new project, Linkin Park dropped their new song "Guilty All The Same" on Shazam, and it features the God MC himself; Rakim.
Speaking about the record to radio station KRoq, band member and producer Mike Shinoda adds that Rakim is one of his idols adding;
“If you get into the nitty-gritty of his rhyme pattern and the topic in this song, it’s bananas what he is doing. He’s on the some Steve Vai s*** vocally.”
The song is a back to basics turn for Linkin Park, who have not been afraid to experiment with new sounds and styles -- and it shows. Linkin Park is set to tour with 30 Seconds to Mars this summer, hopefully they will let some more information about their new project out the bag by then.
