Tis the season to get injured? We hate to jest, but rolling through the EDM newswire are two separate incidents where DJs won't be able to perform due to some kind of illness. To start things off, TMZ is reporting that Avicii was rushed to the hospital hours before his Avicii Hotel performance at the SLS. White Raver Rafting posted a tweet of Avicii's saying that Alesso will be taking his place, but at the time of this writing the tweet is not on his account, nor is there anything posted on his Facebook page. There's no report on why he would've been hospitalized, but he did have to get hospitalized twice in 2013 due to a stomach illness, missing shows in India and Australia.

Meanwhile, inthemix is reporting that Stefan Engblom of Dada Life had to be flown to Sweden to undergo "urgent surgery." Here is a press release that was sent out about his situation:

We wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately Stefan has had to fly back to Sweden to have some urgent abdominal surgery. It has to be done now to prevent more serious conditions in the future, as of right now we don’t know the recovery time but will have a timeline from the doctors in the coming days and will keep you all posted.

For the upcoming shows this weekend in Miami, Las Vegas and Boise please note that Olle will be coming and playing a full Dada Life show.

Do The Dada.

You might remember that Dada Life wasn't able to play Ultra last year due to passport issues, so Stefan misses out two years in a row. Health is more important, though, and we wish Stefan and Avicii the best in their current situations.
