Pharrell sure has a lot to be happy about in 2014. As if four Grammy awards and the announcement of his second solo album G I R L wasn't already enough, the 40-year-old artist can add another achievement to the books as his latest single "Happy" has now sold over a million copies. This marks Pharrell's first platinum single as a lead artist, though he's certainly racked up a number of them as a featured artist and producer. "Happy" also climbs to No. 1 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart this week, knocking Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" collaboration with Juicy J out of the top spot.

"Happy" is the lead single from Pharrell's upcoming album G I R L, which is scheduled for a March 3 release. This will be his first solo album in nearly eight years.
