Black Butter Records is no doubt one of my favorite labels of the last year. Their soulful sound is at once classic. Futuristic and throwback at the #samedamntime. With their newest release, a three-track EP entitled Masterplan, My Nu Leng dazles. Opening track and title single "Mastermind" deviates a bit from their normal tech house & bass-heavy garage flavors and delivers a more menacing take on some forward-thinking bass music. The other two are also dope but they are more in-line with what you'd expect from this special act. Check this out and support with a purchase.
