Machinedrum aka Travis Stewart has been on one trailblazing 2013 -- 2014 and beyond doesn’t seem to have an end in sight for him anytime soon. With his latest long-player Vapor City getting high marks and spins from some of the best and brightest in the music industry (us included of course) and a tour spanning multiple continents, he and the Ninja Tune team have presented his latest offering to the Vapor City saga in the form of the Fenris District EP. “Back Seat Ho” is one of the cuts from this EP, and it has a warm analog chord progression paired with those hopscotch-style beats that you would hear someone drumming out with pencils and pens on a school desk – that is until the vocal that comes makes that dream WAY more adult than what it seemed.
The 12” and digital version of “Back Seat Ho”, as well as the Fenris District EP are available on March 24 via Ninja Tune.
