Now this is what I like; random ass fire that just exists to get you hype. You not up on HWLS? I wasn't either, and when I did get turned onto them, I was pissed I missed it. HWLS is a collaborative project from Ta-Ku and Kit Pop; they've so far released two other tracks, appropriately titled "001" (with B.Lewis) and "002" (with LAKIM), but while all three have that future hip-hop sound to them, there's something about the ESTA-collaboration "003" that has me thinking this project is really going places. Maybe it's the fact that those thumping thuds used as kicks really open the spectrum of "trap" up. Or just the obvious turn up in those horns. Whatever the case may be, color me convinced. And desperately in need of their EP.
