Yesterday, word hit the news wire regarding lawsuits that could potentially stop this year's Electric Forest festival from going on as scheduled. In the complex documents, it looks like SFX Entertainment was looking to purchase the Double JJ Ranch & Golf Resort, helping them settle the millions of dollars in debt they've accrued. This was a move to push Madison House out of the way, but they'd already had a 20-year lease to hold the festival on that land, and had even paid a $60,000 deposit in October to hold the 2014 Electric Forest there. Madison House isn't taking this lightly, and a hearing on this matter is scheduled for February 24.

As of right now, Madison House is saying that this June's Electric Forest will go down as scheduled. We'll keep you posted on this as it unfolds.
