In this week's news of the weird, creepy, and exploitative, TMZ is confirming that DMX has been named George Zimmerman's opponent in an upcoming celebrity boxing match.
TMZ quoted a celebrity boxing promoter, which is a real job, named Damon Feldman saying DMX was selected out of more than 15,000 applicants. DMX's qualifications are apparently that no one wants to beat Zimmerman's ass as much as DMX, although it's tough to tell if that's TMZ's editorializing, or a paraphrase of Mr. Feldman.
DMX previously said that he would "beat the living f**k out him…I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up." He then threatened to urinate on George Zimmerman's face.
The full details will be announced at a news conference next Wednesday. The event will no doubt be the epitome of class.
Today would have been Trayvon Martin's 19th birthday.
