Despite signing to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint in 2010, Southern rapper CyHi The Prynce has gone relatively under the radar in the last few years. His last release was his 2013 mixtape Ivy League: Kick Back, a project that came and went with little recognition. Which is upsetting, considering CyHi has shown moments of brilliance, especially when in direct lyrical competition with the best rap has to offer. "So Appalled," anyone?

Today, CyHi The Prynce releases his new music video for "Napoleon." And like the man the song is named after, CyHi has a chip on his shoulder the size of Stone Mountain. For nearly four minutes he rips through M16's menacing beat while staying slick throughout. "You gonna need your liquor license just to fuck with my bars" and "Try to battle me, you gonna need a pair of medics" are just a few examples of his clever lyricism. He even shouts out 2 Chainz in a roundabout way.

CyHi The Prynce says he's still planning to release his debut album, which will also include a familiar face. "I want to release a few mixtapes and then focus on my first album," CyHi tells HipHopDX, before naming Kanye West as the executive producer for his debut project. "We've been working on all this new music."

For now, watch the music video for "Napoleon" above, directed by Shawny Ocho & Famo Since 1991.
