Young & Sick - "Magnolia"

Man it can be the coldest of days and the busiest of days when something slides across your desk that just changes everything. Right now that's Young & Sick's debut music video, "Magnolia." To say I'm blown away by this video/music is an understatement. Listening to this sort of warm indie poptronica reminds me of my youth spent in national parks in Canada and the wonder I was inspired by as a city kid being exposed to the sheer beauty of nature. There's a juxtaposition of electronic synths and indie vibes that give this track a beautiful kumbaya type vibe here. Anyone else listening to this and imagining their at Coachella? The thing is, there's a million ways to say how and why I love this video and song, but the easiest thing to say is that it's an antidote for a young and sick generation.
