Rap Genius announced today that they have entered a licensing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group. This is another play in the lyrics site's move toward legitimacy. Back in November, they signed a similar publishing deal with Sony/ATV. This came shortly after the National Music Publishers Association sent a take-down notice to the site due to their use of copyrighted lyrics without a license.
