Earlier this month, it was reported that Kanye West allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old outside of a Beverly Hills doctor's office. West attacked the teenager after he allegedly spouted a bunch of racial slurs at West's fiancée Kim Kardashian. TMZ now reports that the case will be settled out of court, with the victim receiving more than $250K to not pursue criminal prosecution.
TMZ's sources say that the D.A. has still not decided whether or not charge Kanye with battery, but alleges it is unlikely due to a number of mitigating factors, including the potential for jury members to be Kanye fans.
They also noted that, while the full settlement figure has not be disclosed, the negotiated amount was in the "upper six figures." $250K is probably just a very small amount of the full settlement.
