Cities Aviv delivers an intense performance with his new music video for "Don't Ever Look Back." The Rimar Villaseñor-directed clip starts off with hollow silence before a warped melody quickly changes the vibe. The video follows along to the pulsing backdrop, with shots of the Brooklyn rapper/producer flickering throughout as if the lens was married to the beat. Cities finally begins his verse 90 seconds into the record. His altered voice feels closely in tune with a chopped and screwed effect, which isn't that much of a stretch as Cities is originally from Memphis.
"Don't Ever Look Back" is off Aviv's upcoming album Come to Life, which will be released January 28 on Young One Records. For those in the Brooklyn area, Cities Aviv will be performing at Baby's All Right on January 21. Tickets for that show are available for purchase.
