Listen to YC The Cynic to Break Down the Saga of "Hunts Point Diaspora"

A leftover song from "GNK" that breaks down the current state of inner-city communities across the world.

YC The Cynic's GNK came out back in September, but today he has released "Hunts Point Diaspora," a song that didn't make the cut. Not because it wasn't dope. Over smooth horns from Frank Drake, The Bronx native evaluates the neighborhood he grew up in, and through introspection and observation, he makes a statement about ghettos across the world. "Black was a disadvantage," YC says, "You turned straight to a ditch and panicked." Anybody can relate to this tale of triumph over seemingly unconquerable obstacles.
