It's a rare moment when deep moombahton vibe master DJ Sabo decides to step out of the steamy, sensual realm in which his sound arguably best resides. However, when he does, he does so with an always unexpected, yet appreciated style and flair. "Dos Sandals," Sabo's latest release with the VERY little known Furnace Beatz is plain and simple a Latin-tinged trap banger. Debuted at May's Moombahton Massive Day event at the 9:30 Club, the track is released just prior to tonight's Christmas-themed Massive in DC (with residents Nadastrom and Sabo plus special quests Uproot Andy and Geko Jones from Brooklyn's Que Bajo party), as well as the huge event on December 19 in LA featuring Nadastrom, Sabo, 2Deep, Thee Mike B, Oro 11, and special guests.

I actually made this song back in May of this year, and first debuted it at Moombahton Massive Day in DC. It went over pretty well (not gonna lie I mixed out of the Suavamente trap remix so kinda no-brainer) so I told Furnace Beatz I wanted to get it mastered and release it for Free. But he was so wrapped up in major label contracts, producing BeatZ for Psy, Avicii, Hanzel, and Miley, tutoring Paris about on stage hand gestures, and designing his custom be-dazzled oven mitten line that it got a little postponed. Now that Trap is really really on the come up though, we got the master back and Furnace decided to "drop it on 'em" as they say. And in keeping tradition with lots a classic hip hop songs which don't give a f#$k about how to properly pronounce words in their native tongue, we named the song by misinterpreting the vocal samples.
