Those hoping to hear Rick Ross' album Mastermind by the end of 2013 will now have to wait a little longer. The veteran rapper confirmed during a recent interview on Hip-Hop Nation's Hoodrich Radio with host DJ Scream that the release date for his sixth solo effort is up in the air. Originally scheduled for December 17, Ross says Mastermind has been pushed back for recording purposes. “I’m still putting the final touches on the album," he says. “Making that classic is more important than anything. Making sure the streets are overwhelmed by what I'm doing is what's most important. I’m gonna try to get it to you, and if I don’t, I’mma get it to you ASAP.”

Just a few days ago Ross dropped the remix of his first single "No Games," which features fellow MMG rappers Wale and Meek Mill, as well as original guest Future on the hook. Ross touched on the album delay at the end of his verse rapping "Mastermind on the way, top of 2014." He ain't playing no games with his rhymes.
