During an interview for Life+Times' "The Truth" with Elliott Wilson," Q-Tip revealed that he's been tapped for production duty on Kanye West's next album. Tip also said that Rick Rubin will join in on the recording process: "I'm producing Kanye's new album with Rick Rubin," he says. "That's coming up." (Kanye recently expressed his desire to release a follow up to Yeezus sooner rather than later. "I'd like to have another album out by next summer," he told Power 99 in Philadelphia a few weeks back.)

Watch the full interview above where Q-Tip also talks about A Tribe Called Quest's legacy and his upcoming solo album The Last Zulu.
