Lauryn Hill Plans First Post-Prison Concerts for Next Week in NYC, Adds Tour Dates for December

The two shows in New York will take place on the same day.

A little over a month after being released from prison for tax evasionLauryn Hill has announced she will be performing at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on November 27. Billed as her "Homecoming" tour, this will be her first post-prison performances as the 38-year-old artist has planned two concerts for Thanksgiving eve. The first show will take place at 6 p.m., the second at 10:30 p.m. Tickets for both 18-and-over shows are on sale now. Tickets currently available are listed at $106.60 including fees.

UPDATE: Lauryn Hill has added five dates to her "Homecoming" tour in mid-December. The shows will take place on the East Coast with Boston and Washington, D.C. included on her tour route. Tickets have not gone on sale for these dates yet. 

Dec. 15: Washington, DC – 9:30 Club
Dec. 18: Boston, MA – Le Royale
Dec. 22: Red Bank, NJ – Count Basie Theatre
Dec. 26: Huntington, NY – The Paramount
Dec. 28: Port Chester, NY – The Capitol Theatre
