If there only one reason to fuck with DJsounds, it's their overhead view of each DJ's setup. And while we hear rumblings of artists with fake sets, it's damn near impossible to dupe a system with a camera fixated on the hardware. Every set DJsounds has provides a split screen so you can see exactly what each artist is doing on the decks.
Here, though, you see Laidback Luke bypass the sync mode, and even scratching a little bit. He's incredibly daring, moving through a 50 minute mix on three CDJs. This gives me a whole new appreciation for this talented DJ, and his mastery of his setup. And if you're thinking about purchasing your own setup, being able to watch what A-List DJs are doing while they spin live is invaluable. We just wish this mix was downloadable.
