Wale releases his new music video "Golden Salvation (Jesus Piece)."
The video is directed by Coodie Simmons & Chike, who visualize the perception of a newly-bought diamond while Wale raps about the concerns that stem from flossing new jewelry. "See they commercialize me/I'm sure there will be more robberies/New chain swag get you crew laid fast/Or laid down or not, a ticket next to dad," he spits over the layered the production from Lee Major. Wale may be in a new tax bracket thanks to his affiliation with Maybach Music Group, but records like this prove he still hasn't lost his lyrical touch.
"Golden Salvation" comes on Wale's latest album The Gifted.
