Pusha T's My Name Is My Name drops on Oct. 8. While Pusha was filming the video for "Blocka" in Kingston, Jamaica a few months back, he linked up with Complex Magazine’s own, Noah Callahan-Bever. The two sat down for an exclusive interview that touched on everything from Pusha's life in Virginia and how it impacts his music, to his current successes and overall career.

"It's best if I live in Virginia and digest everything that comes from New York and Atlanta and LA and all the other hubs, but I don't want to live amongst that because I think it would affect my music," Pusha said.

He went on to talk about his relationships with both Kanye West and Pharrell, making concessions to larger audiences, and more. Watch Pt. 1 of the documentary above, and stay tuned for the rest.
