Pusha T Says He Will Have Best Hip-Hop Album of the Year

Hopefully no rappers catching feels from this statement.

With Drake's album Nothing Was the Same finally upon us, the next big upcoming release in hip-hop is Pusha T's debut solo album My Name Is My Name which is scheduled to drop October 8.

In an interview with VH1, Pusha says he believes My Name Is My Name will be the best hip-hop album of the year. "Album of the year. Hip-hop album of the year. For sure," he says. Pusha T makes this proclamation after listing off a number of other high profile releases from artists earlier in the year, including Jay Z, Kanye West, Wale, J. Cole, and of course Drake.

Pusha T also makes it clear that he looks at some of those rappers in a different light. "I look at ‘Ye and Jay differently than I look at the rest," he says. No need to elaborate Pusha, we get what you're saying.
