Jade de LaFleur releases her new single "Jaded."
A product of Houma, Louisiana, LaFleur initially got her start in the music industry as a member of the R&B trio Sophia Fresh before pursuing a solo career. She has since been perfecting her craft with assistance from veteran songwriter James Fauntleroy, and that growth clearly shines here as her seductive vocals embellish the moody backdrop, inspired by an opening sample of Janis Joplin wailing, "It's sad, so sad to be alone." You'll definitely have the lush hook stuck in your head by days' end.
