Kanye West performed "New Slaves" and "Blood On The Leaves" as part of an extended episode of Later... with Jools Holland. Much like his performance of "Bound 2" earlier this week, Kanye was accompanied by Charlie Wilson, who added backup vocals for the former song. For "New Slaves," Kanye offered a simple, acoustic rendition of the song, relying on piano keys in the background and removing the synths. Kanye's performance of "Blood On The Leaves" added scratching, screaming vocal effects, and extra echoes, but did not add the shadowy imagery that was used in his performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards one month ago.
This has been a busy week in London for Kanye, which began when he performed "Bound 2" on Later... with Jools Holland. A few days later, it was announced that Kanye had sat down with Zane Lowe for a full-length interview, which will be unveiled next week.
