DAD doesn't really understand why the gender roles in EDM are so crazy; we know loads of females who geek out over tech just as hard as the males do. And we've shown you how well women do both on the beats and behind the decks, as well as behind-the-scenes. However, the mainstream always seems to push the guys. If we ruled EDM, we'd make sure that the best of the best would be represented, no matter what organ you were born with.
We won't go off on a rant (yet) about the racial makeup of EDM's biggest stars, nor will we bother discussing what goes on in any DJ's bedroom (as that's just not appropriate), but there's definitely a bias toward a certain type of person vaulted into a power position within EDM. If DAD ruled the dance floors, we'd look to give equal representation and opportunity of all facets of society.
